1. what are you most passionate about? shit idk a lot of things, like zuko's character arc in atla and just the lord of the rings in general. but seriously probs the one thing i am most passionate about is learning. there's a reason why i'm planning to stay 6(??) years at uni doing my undergrad degree i'm a big sucker help me

2. what is your favourite childhood memory? i was a terrified lil kid and the first time i went to the country we arrived at our accommodation at like 11pm and there was no light pollution from anywhere cos we were staying on a farm and that's the first time i saw the stars properly... of course i was scared shitless and ran inside and hid under the dining table because all the stars were actually asteroids about to hit earth lol i was dumb

3. what are three things you like most about yourself? - my sense of judgement. i'm realistic but can empathise well. - i like my body and am not too concerned about body image - my extreme passion for some things and then complete apathy for other things (in terms of likes/ dislikes)

4. describe the perfect meal lamb steaks marinated with garlic and wholegrain mustard and super golden roast potatoes with a giant salad aw ye

5. *im gonna cheat a bit and steal this question from the previous set so* if you could speak another language what would you pick? i'm learning japanese atm but i reckon i'd like to speak slovenian because then i could speak w my grandparents and they would be happy

6. do you have any particular movie/show recommendations? frcikin hell what why ok lisa if you havent watched nodame cantabile yet is2g u ded to everyone else: i guess just watch avatar: the last airbender and fullmetal alchemist because all of the characters in those shows are so beautiful 

7. what made you want to follow me? ......................................... i don't remember, i think andrew kept showing me your posts and they were very funny

8. what was your least favourite thing about high school? um probably that i felt like i couldn't ask for help in my senior years because i was one of the 'good students' and so didn't need it????? idk i don't think there was enough support in year 12 especially

9. thoughts on australia? just really dumb. australians don't like to think. anti-intellectualism feeds heavily into racist, sexist, anti-queer, and just shitting-all-over-everyone-who-isnt-a-white-male culture. still in denial about tony abbott being the PM.

10. what was the best thing that happened to you in 2013? not going to lie, 2013 was a pretty shit year. ooohh but i dID get to go to coonabarabran for my friend's 21st which was amaaaazeeee and we saw the AAO telescope and it was beautiful and aahhh yess that was a very good time

11. ive run out of ideas it’s taken me about 1.5hours just to come up w/ these questions just tell me about your day. i was at uni from 10-6 cos i'm doing summer school. today's classes (gender studies) went for 5 hours: 3 hour lecture in morning, then a 3 hour break, then a 2 hour tutorial. the class is amaaaaaaazing, today we were talking about the emergence of queer in the heteronormative context that western culture has been operating in for the past couple of centuries. in my 3 hour break i went to the pool and did 10 laps, and then i did the last bit of my reading for my tute, and then watched some anime, and then i went to my tute, and then i drove home and went to a bbq at my neighbour's house and i was very tired and why am i still awake

Oh god! Maybe she's just like "you can't be serious I don't want to mark another essay again"? Don't stress too much, you'll do better next time!

i think if i decided to rewrite the essay she would have read it and commented on it anyway, she's really good like that. it's just that we have an essay due in 3 weeks and perhaps i should channel my 'oH GOD I'VE NEVER GOTTEN A MARK THIS BAD I NEED TO RECIFY THIS' kind of panic into the next essay rather than redoing the first one and THEN doing the next one

my main thing is that she marked the vast majority of these papers and if 57 is a high mark then she must have been BRUTAL with the rest of them, like it seems a large proportion of the class actually failed
