He was going to rub this in her face. He was going to taunt her about her 'weak moment' for the rest of this regeneration, and maybe the ones after as well, and she knew that. But she couldn't just let him get shot. Not because they were friends, not because she cared, but because she hadn't fully sought through her plans. It was a selfish move. This isn't how this was supposed to end for him- and she wasn't about to let some nitwit with a gun ruin this for her. Wincing slightly as she held her hand to her shoulder where the bullet had embedded itself into her, she let out a slow breath. Her eyes slowly lifted to glower at him "No smart remarks, no comments, just help me.... now..."
