SEND ME A ‘ღ’ TO GENERATE A ROMANCY DRABBLE.
Peppermint: a candied kiss; our muses fight over the last candy…the one who does manage to grab it gets a sweet surprise, when the other muse kisses them, pulling away with a satisfied smirk, and the sweet treat between their lips.
A laugh escaped Gaeul’s lips. The library was closed, it was already past eight at night but it didn’t stop her from muffling her laughter behind her hand, eyes sparkling with amusement directed at her friend who was sitting right next to her on the floor, their backs against the wall. He would tell her about his students’ latest unsuccessful attempt at avoiding a test and she would babble about the last book she has read, their bodies only lightened up by the small and old lamps on a nearby wooden table.
It was almost like a routine.
For a moment, they just enjoyed each other’s company, hidden in the back of the library Gaeul was working in. Not that they had something or somebody to hide of, but it was just more comfortable, maybe more intimate, when they had to share secrets through whispers and murmurs whose the walls and books were the only witnesses.
Her red stilettos were discarded on the side and a book lied closed on her lap while Jordan had shrugged off his jacket a while ago after he had thrown a small plastic bag of candies at the librarian who in answer had beamed at him. They didn’t know at this moment that those candies would be the reason of a surprising event.
“He didn’t possibly say that?” Gaeul laughed as she listened to Jordan’s story about something that had happened with another teacher. He had always so many entertaining things to tell her and somehow, it never failed to put her in a good mood. After all, she couldn’t ask for more: she was in her favorite place with good company and he had even brought candies.
Delicately tucking her hair behind her ear, she reached for a caramel sweet, a smile on her pink lips when Jordan’s fingers wrapped around her pale wrist, startling her slightly. She turned her head towards him, raising her eyebrows. “It’s the last one.” He explained, almost suggesting for her to give up the sweet.
“Yes…And?” Gaeul grinned, trying to tug her her wrist away from his grip. She didn’t succeed and narrowed her eyes at her friend. “I deserve that one after I’ve managed to ruin a business man’s day this morning by spilling my latte on his suit.”
“I’ve spent my days with students. I deserve it.” It made Gaeul roll her eyes, muttering that it was his job. But she was good at heart and was ready to give him the desired candy when he released her wrist, leaning back with a shrug. “Fine– You eat it.”
It made her blink, but she certainly wasn’t going to refuse. Unwrapping the caramel from its plastic with a content hum, she then popped it into her mouth, glancing over at Jordan teasingly as she then closed her eyes, the sweet taste of caramel filling her mouth entirely. And then, then, her cheeks were cupped and a pair of lips were pressed against hers, a wet tongue nudging her lips open. Gaeul whose mind was usually overworking all the time grew blank and she didn’t quite know whether she should kiss him back or push him away or just stay like that. Her fingers went up to wrap around his wrists as she didn’t know what to do but before she could take a decision, he was pulling away.
“Wha–” Her face turned red at the sight of his smirk in embarrassment and then, she realized what was between his teeth: her caramel candy. “That’s unfair!” She accused; he shrugged innocently. “I don’t even know why I considered kissing you back for even one second when all you wanted– Argh! You’re the worst friend ever.”
That made him laugh until he had to avoid a flying shoe.
