Gilles Villeneuve, in him driver's strike era. Kyalami, 1982
Andrea, walking up to Niki and Lole during the kyalami strike in the middle of the night: I had a bad dream.
Lole: What was it about?
Niki: No, don’t ask him that!
Lole: Why not?
Niki: Cause he'll answer!
In case you guys are wondering why am I this obsessed with the Kyalami strike, you should know (lore drop incoming) that since I’m from a nation boiling with political issues, and from a line of people who had to keep fighting for their sole existence for centuries, it is pretty personal to me. I myself am a notorious protester and a rebellious young gal, so it is understandable why it intrigues me. Let’s just say… Niki would’ve been proud if he knew that I attended a pride festival along with approximately 300.000 other people despite it being banned by a bill months earlier. loll.
