Hi Alexis! I just saw your post about corvo’s folding blade and i was amazed! I was wondering how did you went about getting into toy design? :D

Well I’ve always had a love of character design/concept design in general so I went to Ringling College of Art and Design to get a degree in illustration. I wanted to do comics originally but my roomie did a summer internship with Hasbro at the end of our Junior year and said I should do try out for them too. I picked up zbrush, learned what I could and applied with them a few months later. Luckily I was one of the few chosen for a year long temp job up at the headquarters and now I freelance for them.

So yeah I never really considered getting into toy designing until I realized I was actually really good at it. That’s whats good about being an illustrator though, there’s so many different mediums within our grasp you kinda just have to go out and try them until you find the one that clicks.
