I finally got around to making a sheath for the Rib Tickler, designed by @law66. The sheath is made to fit in MOLLE webbing and be secured with paracord, zip ties, etc. Shown on an @lbtinc Three Day Pack.
Just made my first kydex holster. This was quite the learning process, but I’m glad I did it. This was based on the Phantom from Raven Concealment My friend wanted a Phantom, but they aren’t being made anymore. #kydexholster #kydexproject #firsttime
First shot at making a mag pouch for my G23. After finishing, I found a bunch of little changes I can make for the next one, but I’m happy with this effort.
Kydex sheath for a United Cutlery Lainhart knife. The knife came with a plastic insert that slid into a folded and sewn piece of nylon webbing. I have wanted a decent sheath for years, so I finally did something about it. I'm still learning as I go, but I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out. The screw holding the glow marker allows for some retention adjustment.
The Kydex bug bit me. @law66 was selling these survival tin sized knives a few years back and I was fortunate to get one. It was shipped with a nylon slip sheath, which just kept it safe for shipping. He figured we were big boys who would then figure out how to carry them. I kept it in that sheath, in a tin, but always wanted to carry it, because it just screamed to be used. Enter my buddy, Chaos Forge, who had some left over Kydex from a couple of projects. This is thick Kydex, and holds the knife in without the need for rivets or glue. As you can see, I sized it to fit in my Twenty Dollar Bandit Core Nano wallet. I may add a hole for lanyard carry. If I do, I'll definitely use a rivet aid retention.
