Not gonna lie, in his first episode Mr. Drako comes off as... a bit of a dick. Or at least dumbass who forces his students to participate in combined athletic and academic contest, without much preparation.
I remember him being rather fun character, even a really nice teacher, who also has this running gag of being ambiguously vampiric (I always liked that his behavior was strange enough to mistake him for a vampire, but also normal enough to put it under "he's not a vampire, he's just like That").
Either way, I guess he will get better in later episodes.
