Kyle had had a small handful of deals fall through lately, and his boss certainly wasn't too impressed with him, especially since he came so highly recommended from his brother who'd been in the position before him. Of course Kevin had moved on to bigger enterprises and Kyle was left to fill his shoes, but he didn't mind; it was a steady gig with good money, and usually a boss that was pretty chill. That was when things were going his way.
The brunette had thankfully just closed one of the deals on his table, handshakes done and champagne popped and he was free to go on his way. He decided he'd earned the celebration, especially since things had been so sideways lately. What he hadn't been expecting when he sauntered up to the bar was a familiar laugh to hit his ears.
Turning, he noticed the woman almost instantly. Time had definitely been kind to her. She was even more beautiful than he remembered as a kid having had a boyhood crush on her. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes." Kyle teased, calling out to her, blue hues twinkling as a smirk curled the corners of his lips.
