In the Fall of 2014, Cornerstone, a small Christian school that competes at the NAIA Division II level, welcomed a skinny white kid onto their team. His name was Kyle. He had a remarkable season, leading the team in scoring, averaging over 20 points per game. Kyle was named First Team All Conference. He led his team into the NAIA Division II National Tournament, and had a heck of a run, where they won the 2015 NAIA Division II National Championship. This National Championship gave his coach his third NAIA Division II National Championship. He was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament, as only a freshman. He was then named First Team NAIA All American. Absolutely remarkable freshman season!

Steigenga just completed one of the most storied careers in NAIA Division II basketball history, while Kyle Mangas will enter his sophomore season on the heels of a remarkable freshman campaign.
