My innocence is not ignorance.

Jaxan definitely fits here. He understands a lot more about people’s motivations than it seems like he does. He just doesn’t rush to judgment about them. He prefers to have a fuller picture before he decides what to think about someone, which is a perspective that he learned from having Kallyn as a Master, after her experiences as a Knight in the Order and during her time serving as Battlemaster. He’s not foolishly trusting.. for the most part ;) , but he sees a positive potential even in people who may not see it in themselves.

It’s also fair to put Kylena in this category. Seryan protected her as much as he could from the worst of her position at his family’s estate, but she still understood the society around her and how dangerous and volatile it was.
