If you are going to a movie theater...

and you see ushers inside the theater, shuffling to clean, PLEASE DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, walk in and sit in a seat. We understand you want to see your movie, but when the previous show completely trashed the theater, we are trying our best to give you the best experience possible and we don’t need to try and sweep under your feet. We have seats in the lobby for a reason.

You don’t know how many times I had been cleaning a theater BY MYSELF, and a group of maybe 10, just walk in, and see that the theater is filthy, and just sit down, AFTER I have asked them politely to wait outside until I finish.

It is not only rude, but it makes my job a lot harder to do when I can’t clean an entire row because your rude ass selves decide to sit down when the movie doesn’t start for another HOUR.

I have actually left a theater dirty because around 50 people just sat their happy asses down in an absolute mess of a theater after I asked them to wait, then proceeded to complain that it was dirty and demand a manager. Excuse me while I stumble over your feet to clean when you can’t wait 5 more minutes for me to sweep the theater and get rid of trash.

TL;DR: Please wait outside of a theater if you see ushers cleaning a theater. We are doing our best to go as fast as possible, you can wait 5 minutes.
