that person saying "they cast white people as her parents so she must be white" isnt making any sense, nor do they know what theyre talking about. not even regarding adoption (something that happens A LOT in sw lol), the minor relating characters are ALWAYS cast AFTER the main one. so, they'd pick whatshername as Jyn, then cast her parents afterwards, and be sure that THEY match up w HER, not the other way around. main characters always go first, everyone else has gotta just be complementary

Yes, it’s honestly ridiculous, but white fans will reach as far as they can trying to justify the bad choices made by white producers, there’s nothing new in that.
