It would be pretty cute, I could easily see them getting along in similar ways that she does to Makoto, I think she'd be a really good influence on Komaru while I think Komaru would think Kyoko is really cool and awesome. I think Kyoko would also be interested in Komaru's ghost sense, ghost crime solving!

Kirigiri saw Makoto’s sister in front of the school sometimes, after classes. She had bright eyes and a wide smile, and spoke loudly, quickly, and often. Kirigiri could tell that most people would dismiss Komaru Naegi as just another vapid, uninteresting nice girl. But the more often Kirigiri saw her, the more the detective was convinced sparkling gaze and bubbly persona were a kind of facade. There was an intensity there; anger. A darkness, perhaps. Kirigiri had to know more. 

Komaru found herself cornered one afternoon before she could find her brother.

“You’re going out with me,” Kirigiri said flatly.

They both have an unhealthy relationship with a figure who they believe they are duty-bound to answer to but one encourages it to through emotional manipulation and abuse whereas the other is given a charge who encourages her to act out and be herself outside of her use to him...their starting points are identical but their conclusions are so, so different. they see themselves in each other. they have more in common than they differ

there's a scene in UTDP where Mukuro helps Peko sneak out of a fashion show so they can hang out behind the stage and just chill away from the cameras and that's so cute. Ultimate making out beneath the bleachers during gym activity

Listen. I just think it'd be really funny if Komaru has a long held history of stealing Makoto's girlfriends

Between her attachments to Yui, Makoto, and the Kirigiriso player character, we can divine that Kyoko has A Type, and that type is 1) shorter brown hair, 2) More Or Less Just Some Guy TM, 3) tends to stick their nose where it doesn't really belong, 4) trusting to a fault, and 5) dumber than her. And guess who fits that criteria to a tee!

I do definitely think that Kyoko would be able to help Komaru reckon with her sudden pressure as the younger sister of Ultimate Hope, as someone who has had an overwhelming amount of pressure to maintain her family legacy. And much as I joke, I do genuinely think that Komaru would bring back Kyoko's better memories of Yui, her partner detective in middle school - visually, but also in the sense of seeing someone dedicating herself to her family and helping others, even though it's not really her skillset. I think they'd both admire each other a lot!
