Her brow curled with confusion as her head snapped towards Kyoko. It was such a strange sentence, and Sayaka wasn’t entirely sure what it entailed. But it made her wonder... what needed to be done?
“You know,” she said, softly grabbing the other’s hand by the tips of her fingers. She kept the fleeting touch light, afraid to hold on to the moment only for it to disappear immediately from her grasp. Sayaka glanced at the ground, her free hand fidgeting with the hem of her dress. “I don’t think that there’s anything you have to do.”
Sayaka glanced up, her smile growing fonder and softer. “Just... promise that you’ll stay by my side?” she asked. “It... it feels right having you here.”
