Her hand reached out to accept hers, as Azula pulled Suki closer. Though they had by no means become friends, an uneasy relationship had developed between the two, certainly not extending to trust but at the very least an understanding that neither would harm the other.

So she moved with her to the sound of the music. Reaching forward with the other woman’s right hand clasped in her left, she attempted to guide her through what she remembered of the steps. Left foot forward, then diagonally or was it supposed to be her right?

Her concentration on her footwork was reflected on her face, and inadvertently she began to frown. There were a few missteps, a few times her foot almost came crashing down on the toe of the other girl.but when the song ended and the two separated, Azula was a little glad that it ended before she could make too great a mistake.

“Well there’s your dance, I hope you’re happy.”

Embarrassment was close enough to disgust on her emotional spectrum that Azula could fake it. Narrowing her eyes, and scrunching her nose, she tried to convey the utter distaste she felt at seeing the woman in a state of undress and turned her gaze away.

Of all the rooms which still functioned correctly in the sector. Of all the people who could find it.

Of course it had to be her.

“There are monsters aside. At least put on your pants.”

“I could say the same about you,” Suki casually teased to ease her discomfort. “Chains and straight jackets… Really cute.”

It was different for the other Kyoshi Warrior to be saying that rather than someone random, so she jumped to a big conclusion. 

“What are you even jealous of? Did I do something? You can just tell me. ‘Cause being really secretive and angry is so bad on your aura. Can’t we all just have nice, soothing pink auras?”
