Jirou and Mei

Mei goes about her business, making super cute babies and only having 1/4 of them explode. Then she gets a call from her mom and dad. Her sister is getting married and they want Mei to be in it. "Eeew. I have no time for 'presentability' and hygiene. I don't get it myself anyway." But eventually she concedes. Then she's hit with the caveat: she needs a date. For her own good (and to prevent further OSHA violations), Powerloader says she needs to go. "Fine. But who do I take? I can't use the mop again...Maybe I can ask the first person that enters the studio."

Sure enough, Kyoka enters to get an upgrade to her support gear and after many hijinks, they agree to pose as a fake couple until after the wedding. Then they part ways. Mei doesn't understand social cues or personal boundaries much at first, and Jirou gets agitated and flustered.

However, as they proceed, they find that they genuinely enjoy eachother's company beyond mere tolerance. They keep going after the wedding but are still in denial until they have a conversation, sort their feelings out, and start fresh as a real couple.
