I think the shadow hands from the spell are more appropriate anyway. It's more a part of her than the rhinestone, which isn't even hers. She just sapped power from it like a battery.

Yeah, I think so too. My initial idea was like “where they draw power from” but then the garnet was so eye-catching it was distracting. So I changed the idea to “the spell of obtainment” which works WAY better since it was the spell that caused the shift from Light Spinner to Shadow Weaver in the first place. It ended up being a better visual story :)

You could darken the garnet too, to make it "pop" less.

@kyova Yeah, I tried but I still didn’t like it. I dunno, sometimes an idea just doesn’t work out. I might use the garnet for a future drawing, maybe something with Scopia

I'm new on Tumblr. Your blog is hilarious and I love the stories coming from the prompts. Has anyone done "Imagine Loki with Lying Cat (from the Saga graphic novel) as an unwanted sidekick?" She's hilarious with her usual master, The Will, and would make it impossible for Loki to fib.
