004. name three authors that were influential to your work and tell whyoh man. OH MAN. that’s so hard. i feel like my writing has definitely been influenced by other writers, but i also feel like most of it has been entirely subconscious? there are few writers who i read and make a note of their actual writing style. but at the top of my head, here are a couple author’s whose writing style i have actively recognized: stephen king, who writes with such clarity and is able to evoke complex emotions in the most direct fashion.jane austen, who made every minute character memorable and unique in their own fashion, and centered her narratives on women with such tenderness and care. william faulker, who’s the complete opposite of king but manages to meander around a paragraph with an excess amount of words and still, somehow, manages to cut you to your core.
