Since I’m such Kyle and Mariah trash, here’s what I want to happen on the Young and the Restless! When Mariah finally ends things with Tessa, I want Kyle to be the supportive best friend he’s been being lately. I want them to have movie nights where they eat tons of ice cream and make fun of romcoms, and then nights where he takes her out dancing or or to the arcade just to help keep her mind off Tessa. I want him doing what every supportive best friend does when one is going through a breakup. Now that Finn is back and Mariah is newly single, maybe he tries to move in on her since Lola is taken? Obviously Kyle isn’t going to like that, no way! He somehow always magically appears when Finn and Mariah are alone together and he always convinces Mariah to hang out with him so Finn won’t get a chance. We all know Kyle can be pretty oblivious so he doesn’t realize he’s being anything other than a protective best friend until Lola points out that he’s been spending a lot of time with Mariah lately and that he seems a little jealous of Finn. Of course, he’s going to deny it! He’ll probably get mad and then leave. He’ll more than likely end up going to Mariah to tell her what happened where he’ll realize Lola was actually right. Queue him having a long talk with Lola later where they decide to just stay friends, going back to Mariah and planning to be the best friend he can be until Mariah is ready for another relationship. Maybe she already is and they get together, who knows! I just want Kyle and Mariah happy together because they seem like the only two people in town who truly care for each other without any ulterior motives!
