currently on the bathroom floor durig a flareup. one of my mom's drunk friends is crying abd puking in the bathtub. my hrt rate is so high my pulse ox is confused. the party is so loud i want to cryyy. i would literrlly give all the cash in my wallet to the first person who could come get me out of here.
medical professionals of tumblr: is this medically concerning enough that i should go to the er?
please say no.
i don't want them to take me away...i won't let them.
Hey kyrie, mind if I visit you for a bit?
sure! i'm always happy to have visitors.
(ooc: Open RP starter, anyone can respond! TW for discussion of child neglect.)
kyrie sat in the waiting area outside of triage in the ptmc emergency department. she almost couldn't believe her plan to get back so soon had worked. at first she was afraid the nurses in triage might not think she really needed to be there again so soon, but when she told them she felt weak and dizzy and they saw how elevated her heart rate was, they immediately agreed she should be checked out. 202 was way too high to be safe, especially without a known trigger.
(she didn't tell them, of course, that the only reason it had ever been so high was because she ran up and down the stairs at home so many times that she nearly passed out. she didn't want them to know she made this happen on purpose, but she just couldn't stand dealing with another one of her parents' crazy parties when she already felt like crap.)
kyrie stayed in her seat, patiently waiting for someone to show up and get her to a bed. she was secretly happy to be back at the hospital. at least here, the adults actually cared about what happened to her. now she just hoped nobody would find out her secret...
good news: i'm allowed to get up and walk short distances now. bad news: i think my iv is screwed up again bc my veins suck. not that i'm going to push the call button and actually ask for help...
why is back to school stuff already in stores??? i'm still enjoying my summer thank you i'm not ready to go back to the free sample of hell. adults keep asking me if i'm excited. what is there to look forward to? more panic attacks in the bathroom, getting yelled at by teachers over nothing, and being forced to go to school on flare up days? no thank you.
