who starts putting up decorations in october? they both do. even before the halloween decorations come down, they’re starting to put up decorations but they wait until the first of december to get their tree – it’s a tradition.
who buys the advent calendars? hyojin does and they take turns opening the number flaps.
who places mistletoes all around the house? kyungri – hyojin is always shy when it comes to showing affection but kyungri insists they follow the mistletoe rule. and the mistletoes are all over, placed in every archway and some in random spots of the house too.
who wraps the presents for other people? they wrap them together. they’re both good at wrapping presents so they sit down together with hot cocoa and christmas music playing to wrap them.
who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? hyojin does, and kyungri holds the chair steady so that she won’t fall.
who’s the one that hates eggnog? kyungri doesn’t like it at all so she never buys it. she drinks red wine instead.
who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? they both do and they go all out. they decorate the cookie platters and send out cute little cards with them too. they set aside a day and hand deliver them all.
who sends out the christmas cards? they both do. they don’t mail them either, they hand deliver them with their holiday cookies platters too.
who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? they both do, and they sing it together every day.
who’s the better snowman builder? hyojin is – kyungri can’t even make a convincing snow angel let alone a snowman. but kyungri adds the santa hat, carrot, and scarf.
who starts snowball fights? kyungri, always, while hyojin whines and pouts because it’s too cold to be throwing snow.
who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly? they both wake up absurdly early – four am, sometimes three am. it’s always a competition to see who can wake up earliest and play the christmas music first. whoever wakes up first gets to open their presents first.
