kyun would have fixed the oshi no ko
happy yuri day to miss kyun, favourite comphet lesbian <3333
honestly after reading part one of vb this hits like. you can be in the limelight all you want but you're still just a person in the world, existing at the same time as anyone else. kyun says at the end of part one she thought she'd just die after youth but she's still standing and that idol glamour didnt exactly translate to post idol life success.
Outside the glitzy entertainment realm, the treatment of 'celebrities' was a cold and sometimes harsh reality. (kyun says)
it plays into the series themes of "idols are human too" or rather, "no one should be idolized because we're all the same or we're all human".
of course there are differences on how people experience things and live their lives but in the end, are we still better than the others around us because of our position in society? of course not
EVEN NOW. KYUN BEING THE ONLY PERSON TO QUESTION WHETHER HER VIEW OF AI WAS A FANTASY IMPOSED ON HER RATHER THAN WHAT AI ACTUALLY WAS
kyun saying this and ai saying she realized the world revolves around money when she had the twins...
ough. remembers c.125 and drags hand down face. oughhh
the undercurrent of her bitterness this entire segment even when shes describing what was supposedly a glorious youth is really good. a chip factory as a metaphor for the idol industry....it really is all about the consumption
