Hey I'm just curious, how many hours so kcon concerts usually last?

I would say about 2-3 hours! This year the convention ends at 7 and the concert ends at 10, so it’s somewhere in between there

This is a wonderful idea. :) First I tag Ryeo-Ryeo back for being so lovely and patient and clever and being a band twin with me, even if I'm a gif blog and she's a picture blog.  I just love seeing her posts on my dash.  She's an absolute gem and I'm so happy our paths crossed on this site. I also tag Kyuper-Junior for being the most unimaginably perfect best friend and for going on this strange Kpop journey with me.  There is nothing I can say that can attest to her genuine love which is always freely given (which I use to my great advantage when I drag her into staning another band with me.) Finally, I have so many wonderful people, but I tag aocheesecake without hesitation.  She is my first real internet friend.  She is so dedicated to her two bands yet so amazingly open minded and thoughtful and interested in everything.  We fangirl together and we're girl group buddies.  Her messages can be so eloquent and I highly regard every one of her opinions .  I still call her kittensandpigeons because my friends know her as that, haha.  <3

Questions:

1: What’s your favorite drama/tv show you’ve watched this year?  Probably Shut Up Flower Boy Band.  I could be biased.  There were episodes of other shows I liked more (The Mall Collapse episode of Reply 1994), but overall, Shut Up was the one I would honestly sit down and watch with anyone over again.

2: Does anything physically hurt on you right now? If so what, and why? My back!  Because I have a straight back from years of marching band and poorly thought out naps on my porch railing.  When I don't keep up with my Pilates my spine compresses on itself and I get semi herniated disks

3. What country’s food do you think is the best? Name your favorite food from that country. Can I just answer food?  I love food. . . but I AM really into Sushi right now.  It's new to me and I'm becoming terribly addicted.  So Japan, I suppose! (at the moment).

4. Tell me three facts about a random distant family member…. okay? My Mom's cousin Lisa is a Broadway stage manager.  She has a dog named Jolly.  On New Years Day her father made Eggs Benedict for breakfast.

5. If you had to choose between extreme heat and cold, which would you choose? I'd choose heat because I like when it's a really sunny hot day and you get in the car and it's like 105 and I just kind of get all content and sleepy and happy . . . like a cat.  If we were choosing moderate hot and cold I'd choose cold though. . .I only like heat in extremity. 

6. Pick three famous people you’d like to meet. What three things would you say to each one? Am I saying three things to each person?  Or one thing for each person totaling three? Park Jungsu:  "Thank you."  I'm guessing that's as far as I'd get before I start crying, but I'd want to say: "You have taught me so much about love, family, leadership, and hope.  And I can never repay you for the role you've played in my life without ever being in it." Hwang Kwanghee--"I like you for your humor and your laugh and the light you give off , and your willingness to make fun of yourself, and the way you tenaciously promote and love the members of your group (the exaggerated jealous/envy thing doesn't fool me), and all of things about yourself you can't and didn't change.  And yet I also like you for taking control of your life and changing your appearance to something that made you happy and I hope it makes you happy even if you should never have had to change.  You're beautiful to me:  appearance, personality, soul and all.

7. If you could marry any person on earth, who would you pick? I don't think I can pick anyone.  That's the problem.  Marriage is . . . you have to really think about that and be compatible and any real person I know obviously isn't that person or I'd find a way to be with them. . . and any celebrity I don't know enough (or can't communicate well enough with).  But because you want an answer and I don't have a real one:  Tiffany Hwang.  

8. Do you have any pets? If so name them and say two quirky things about each one. Two cats! Simon--He sits on those toys with pull strings and pulls the string with his teeth to turn them on without our help. He's a schizophrenic psychopath who has tried to kill me on multiple occasions. Sophie--She's will literally only play or let you pet her if there is no one else around. She shits in the bathtub.

9. What would you do for a klondike bar? Open up the freezer if we already had some and I was kind of desperate.

10. Where do you see yourself in ten days? Back at college! . . . D:

1. What are your top 5 favorite desserts? Candy (the addiction is real), Raspberry Streusel Bar (I would KILL  for them o.o), Green Tea Mochi Ice Cream, Black and White Cookies, Rainbow Sherbert.   

2. What are your top 5 favorite celebrities (any gender)? Ahh, I hate to avoid questions, but I couldn't even begin to make a list of five.  It would take hours to sort it out.  I'll pick 5 who impressed me recently though!  Jonghyun, Joon, Amber, Dongjun, Taeyeon.  All of them have had outlooks on issues that I really commend and appreciate. :)

3. Do you read or write fanfiction? Honesty hour: I was once the author of a pretty successful SJ fic that I abandoned  and I'm pretty much pretending I'm dead because I feel guilty.  Now I just write unfinished stories left and right and only share them with my best friend (like one story where Suho is an emancipated minor trying to legally gain guardianship of his younger brothers Kai and Sehun before Kai vanishes. . . I might have read too many of my Mom's thrillers XD).  I do read sometimes, the few BRILLIANT pieces I've read I save but I rarely make it through a longer piece.  There are some magnificent writers out there who could change names and get their stuff published, but there's a lot of not so good stuff to balance it out. 4. What are your favorite fanfiction genres. If you don’t read fanfiction, favorite book genres? Um. . . hard to say. . . most stories that have made it into the folder are drastically different.  They're usually atmospheric though.  In some kind of "short story" format.  Very original, unique ideas like this phenomenal Vixx one where you can't tell if Hongbin is crazy or Ken is trying to kill him.  BRILLIANT.  I think for writing I write in the family kind of genre.  Either literally family or people coming together in one way or another.  I like watching broken ends come together.  So I guess you could sort of say hurt/comfort too but that genre tends to be a one shot kind of thing and I think on grand scales like that one B.A.P. one I wrote like 6 outlines for and never wrote where the members end up together as a rag tag team of really disparate, vaguely military folk thrown together on a suicide mission and there are some issues about regenerative cells and controlling governments and random stuff like that.

5. What bands/music artists (any genre) do you recommend to your followers? (limit 10 max.) Hm. . .I'll pick more obscure folk then.  Brendan James, Nell, ZE:A, Spica, M.I.B.    

6. What country and time zone do you live in? U.S.A. and Eastern!

7. Do you have any food allergies? Nope!  But I avoid shrimp because my best friend is allergic and it's easier that way.  (We share so much food).

8. What’s your favorite plant (flower, herb, tree, scrub, anything)? This is a really nice question. . . hm.....  Bee Balm.  (Not to be confused with B Bomb)

9. What’s your astrological sun sign? Leo!

10. Was 2013 good to you? Not awful!  There were amazing times and some crappy, unnecessary dark moods, but overall, the amazing times are way easier to remember. . . you know? :)

11. Do you watch anime? If so, what are your anime recommendations? Not anymore.  I never watched religiously but on lazy summer afternoons I'd look at stuff OnDemand.  Nothing really struck me but I enjoyed Reservoir Chronicles for the run I watched it.  (Never finished though).
