Vergil typically has an earthy smell that clings to his skin , a faint scent of petrichor that’s often missed due to the fact that he does also wear cologne . The only way to ever really catch this natural scent of his is after a shower.
He follows a set routine in the morning , regardless of whether or not he’s managed to fall asleep the night before . There’s activity in his home by 5am , typically him getting dressed or in the bathroom . If his morning routine is interrupted , it might lead to him being potentially annoyed for the rest of the day .
Vergil collects cufflinks , typically ones that are more difficult to come by or ones that he’s found especially unique/rare .
While he does enjoy coffee , Vergil typically finds himself preferring teas over coffee due to the more calming aromas that they have . One of his favorites is Black Dragon Pearl tea .
Sleep does not come easily to him , nor ever has . While this does not necessarily affect him from one day to the other , he does end up feeling the effects of fatigue over an extended period of time . While he does not sleep , he does manage to rest in other ways such as personal meditation & residing in a quiet area where he can rest his eyes for a few minutes at a time .
Vergil listens to a lot of classical music , his music library containing notable pieces from Robert Schumann , but perhaps one of his more favored pieces is Chopin’s Nocturne Opus 9.
On that same line , he actually plays piano and violin extremely well . This isn’t known by anyone ( except perhaps Dante ) .
While he didn’t continue going to school after the demon attack , Vergil’s intelligence is due to all the books & their materials that he’s studied & researched .
Vergil typically likes to read at night , when the noises of the city & bustle of people are at a minimum so as to allow him to read in peace .
