A Night Out
@l-frogliet
Light Yagami tried to meet the expectations thrust upon him from an early age, he truly did. Every stellar grade he received only raised the bar. With all of the work he did, many of his peers doubted that he even had a social life outside of school. They were, however, quite mistaken.
Over the years, Light had reserved Friday night for a late-night studying session, one in which he was not to be disturbed. Within the last year, however, he had not been studying. Instead, he set his bed to appear as if he was sleeping in it, dressed himself in tight pants and a low-cut shirt or sweater, adorned his preferred red lipstick, and slipped out of his house through his window. It had become habitual for him, and he always went to the same club. He spent the night dancing, flirting, and drinking his stress away.
Little did he know, however, that this night was quite different than his past. He had been completely unaware that cameras were in his room, going about his plan as usual and slipping a few condoms in his pocket, just in case. He was, of course, lucky enough that his father had not been there to watch the cameras that night.
The day at school had nearly killed him, so he focused on subtly seducing every man that bothered looking his way, desperate to feel worth-while.

Light had many skills that he had developed over the years, and feigning a smile was one of the most useful. It had helped him avoid countless awkward conversations and kept him out of trouble countless times. After all, if he constantly acted like everything was perfectly fine, no one would know that everything was definitely not fine.
This skill was becoming harder and harder to maintain the more time he spent around L. At first, the man had fascinated him. From the moment he’d seen him being chastised for sitting strangely, his curiosity had been peaked. However, the moment he revealed himself as the great detective, Light’s life became very, very difficult.
He constantly felt as if L could see right through his mask, and it unnerved the hell out of him. He knew he was innocent, yet he still had to act like utter perfection 24/7, or else risk increasing the man’s suspicion. Worse yet, the more time he spent at HQ, the less time he had to work on his classwork. He found that cutting back on sleep and meals gave him far more time to work on everything, and this worked rather well, that is, until he passed out while working on his computer whist at HQ.

[🐸] — ‘‘IF you’d be stupid, yes. But I can already tell you’re not. However, I don’t really have a habit of worrying about that sort of thing.’‘
The sin smirked a little, looking at the raven haired man in front of him. ‘’I mean, we don’t need to worry about things that don’t matter, now, do we? What makes you think I’m a serial killer? I’m only 5′1ft tall, pretty thin, surely it should be easy enough to get past ME.’’
“do you ever knock?!”

Beyond burst out laughing.
“Heeey, what’re you doin’ there, Lawli~?”
He smirked. L might’ve slammed the laptop shut, but he could still hear sounds from its speakers.
“I would’ve never expected you of all people–”
