Lessons in Marketing Excellence
Lessons in Marketing Excellence (L.I.M.E) is one of the prestigious B-School Competition in the country. L.I.M.E is the case study competition which is organised by Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) in association with CNBC TV18. Over the years, this event has seen students from top B School take part in this prestigious competition where they get to work on real-life case studies.
L.I.M.E which was started in 2010, now it has reached to a decade and it is on to its 12th season. As everyone knows that the pandemic has stopped the regular life to a great extent. Keeping in mind the current scenario, this year’s theme of the XII season is “Nutrition and Hygiene”.
This year the launch event of Lessons in Marketing Excellence was a little different as due to lockdown, LIME couldn’t manage to conduct a physical launch event. Instead of this using the latest technology, the launch event was conducted virtually and saw a lot of viewers who attended the event including the alumni of the past 11 seasons of the competition. A never before AR-enabled launch event of this year's theme witnessed 23K+ registrations & 9K+ attendees at one point.
“Nutrition and Hygiene” for which people have started giving more focus on during this pandemic. This year’s main motive for the participants was to great an innovative marketing case study revolving around the theme and how business can run during this pandemic.
L.I.M.E has seen many mentors and jury members over the years who are people which have great experience in their particular fields and working with well- known companies of the country. The mentors share their experience with the participants of the team which can help them to work better on the case study and also help students to work better in future wherever they start working.
After a rigorous competition among the students, the jury then shortlisted the semi-finalist. The most awaited finals of the XII Season of the event Lessons in Marketing Excellence is set to take place on the 25th November 2020.
