My mother told my partner that she refuses to gender me correctly or call me by my chosen name. I didn’t think it would hurt as badly as it does, but now her and her sister are calling me anything but my chosen name. Yesterday my aunt called me all of the animals names before using my dead name.
It’s practically psychological warfare and I’m getting so worn down and upset about it. They attack me only when my partner goes to work, so they know they won’t get his wrath right away.
I just want to be drunk 24/7 to be numb to everything so it doesn’t hurt as much, so I don’t have to feel as terrorized.
