Aspidiske-L0RS01: Setting the Board: Finding Lenia’s Zero Rituals
Laws of Practice
Law Of Missing Links: Follow what is cavernous and wailing.
Lenia's Rule Of Zeros: Set the temple according to your iteration. The rules are set—play fair.
The Law Of Prophecy: Don’t trust the prophet’s tongue. You know exactly what you know now—nothing else.
Law Of Manifestation: You must speak the ritual, clearly and concisely. You must not lose your head.
Sculptor’s Best Knife: Do not write down what is implied. Trace your path only once.
Hydra’s Circuit: When paths diverge, they sing in chorus. Pin down your songbird—decide his solo now.
Rule of Phaedrus: Of object and of subject. Of earth and of mind.
Rule of Metaphors: A word is a mule. It’s own weight must drag on the weight of your burdens double.
Equal and Opposite: You design the world. You are designed by the world.
Humility’s Door: Respect the powers that be.
NAMING CONVENTIONS: Labeling Seed: #L0RS Draft: #L0RD Script: #L0RS
The Circuit
1. Conception
Your problem awaits. Speak what is unknown. Plant the seed.
2. Draft
Dear architect: in your mind’s eye is the missing link, a chasm beneath your feet. Secure the scaffolding, and carefully should your bridge kiss the precipice at the other side.
Your draft must be written. It must be written well.
Do not make the mistake of cannibalistic creation. More eyes than Yours alone (in the sense that You; architect and honeybee—the wasps in the rafters and Hume’s incisive Eye) should fall on your ritual. Lay the path for Lenia.
THE DRAFT | SECTION I: Laws of Practice Your ritual is designed around your laws of practice: a series of meditations carried out in your execution of the ritual. The Laws are iterative. The Laws are Everchanging. THE DRAFT | SECTION II: Circuit The process should be described sequentially. Identify the following objects: Major Circuit Components, Minor Circuit Components, Physical Devices, States, and Conceptual Devices. THE DRAFT | SECTION III: Logging The process should be logged on some sort of digital library. THE DRAFT | SECTION IV: Ritual Naming Select a star from the International Astronomical Union's list of proper star names. Title as appropriate.
3. Beta Implementation
Practice your ritual once. On the tightrope you walk—perfection an infinite measure away, yet you reach impossibly closer each revision. This repetition must end at some point. Do not play God—for even Her creations are imperfect, yet beautiful.
4. Script Revision
Entangle your process. Finalize your script. From fiction, truth shall be crafted. The artist knows this above all else.
FINAL SCRIPT | SECTION I: Laws of Practice Name each law. Carefully, now. FINAL SCRIPT | SECTION II: Circuit Parse Circuit Law & Semantic. A new step must be added, of symbol only, before the process is finished. THE DRAFT | SECTION III: Logging The final script should be logged on some sort of digital library.
5. Constructing A Visualization
You are two; and also one. On what language is spoken by the heart; that is unreachable by anything but the heart itself. Should we speak, or should we paint—we approach the final frontier with glib approximation. Yet a noble pursuit is had—both the mouth and the eye should know as thus.
VISUALIZATION | SECTION I: Structure From above, you should identify your vehicle—Major Circuit Components, Minor Circuit Components, Physical Devices, and Conceptual Devices. A Composite Structure Diagram should be sufficient. VISUALIZATION | SECTION II: Process An Interaction Overview Diagram should be sufficient.
6. Finalization
Repeat the Beta Implementation process. You are nearly there. When your ritual has been carved faithful to it’s purpose, you may now see it through in physical form.
FINALIZATION | SECTION I: Script Print as scroll. FINALIZATION | SECTION II: Visualization Diagrams should be formatted in full color. If color is not available, use available medium to add color. FINALIZATION | SECTION III: Symbol On scrap paper, craft your symbol with careful meditation. cut/tear into a square that can be secured onto the final ritual scroll. Each implementation of the ritual must be recorded. If the ritual is revised, the associated symbol must also be modified.
