I want to learn more about Lilly. She seems like a really sweet bot.
Awwwww. Haha, she has to be sweet, seeing the company she’s with~
(This is only a bit of her backstory, as more of it is revealed in the actual story— whenever I decide to post it)
Well~ Lily started off as an intelligence gynoid and weapons designer for the Decepticon cause back during the war alongside another android by the name of Shiva (her then beau)— remaining unoffically branded to a particular faction. In all honesty, she sold her weapons to whomever she wanted, given the right price.
But when the war came to an end, she found herself seeking an escape and joined Lockdown’s crew, promising him unique, one-of-a-kind upgrades, ending her relationship with Shiva in the process. Lockdown’s crew didn’t take too kindly to Lily initially, but found they had no choice but to accept her as one of their own after she saw to it to test her newest ballistic rounds on them.
Over time, Lockdown grew a soft spot for his weaponsmith, keeping his fondness for Lily far from the prying optics of his crew members. The two eventually ran into Shiva while on a reprieve to Hedonia, where Lily was attacked by her former lover. Nearly offlined in the process, Lockdown saw to it she was repaired while he took care of business. Suffice to say, Shiva’s processor made a nice trophy.
After many, many cycles of being together, Lockdown’s ship and crew were attacked by a rival gang of hunters. Lily was jettisoned in the process, Lockdown believing her offlined— unable to find her as her tracking chip had been damaged when she was blown from the ship (the only upgrade Lily ever received, if only so Lockdown could keep tabs on her).
But Lily was picked up by Swindle, a quasi-competitor of hers in the weapons market, and struck a deal with him to keep his vocaliser shut about her surviving the attack. (She saw her “death” as an opportunity to detach herself from her Decepticon past, despite that it hurt to lie to Lockdown in such a way).
At this point, Lily began her life anew. And even though many promising prospects stood in front of her, she sneaked aboard the Lost Light against her better judgement, hiding away in the deep levels of the ship. But eventually she’s found out by the curious Doctor Rung, and is interrogated by Ultra Magnus.
Wanting to remove herself from her black market dealings, she has to prove herself a trustworthy bot— all the while avoiding Rung’s probing questions about her strange behaviour and more elusive past.
And what happens when Lockdown learns the truth about Lily’s disappearance. What danger would that spell not only for her, but for her new-found friends aboard the Lost Light?
There’s WAY more than that, but like I said, I wanna keep a lot of it under wraps so I can leave SOME new stuff for the story, haha~
