semester one; a picture that represents my practice
We were asked to present a picture for our seminar that represented our practice. I went with this picture of all of my Pinterest boards printed out and put on the bare wooden boards of my attic bedroom, which has been under renovation for the last four months. This year has been displaced for all of us, with Covid-19 and student living and learning situations royally fucking us over, but my displacement is also inside the home. I have been sleeping in different rooms while my bedroom has been gutted, plaster taken off the ceilings and walls and redone.
The pictures of the floor are representative of my inspirations, ranging different medias, and a vast amount of them.
