“#L4BL is a call to conscience, to action and to responsibility for racial equity and social justice.” To some this will seem too controversial. To others, it will reinforce the pride we feel in a profession with strong ethical standards and a long history of progressive stands. We must acknowledge that this tension exists both in librarianship and in academia.
