'24 Hour Hunger Experience’ returns after 15 years, sharing the suffering of refugees
‘Hope TV’ is reproducing ‘24 Hours of Hunger Experience’ for the first time in 15 years. Starting on the 17th, SBS 'Hope TV' will join hands with World Vision, the world's largest international relief and development NGO, to re-present '24 Hours of Hunger Experience', which was broadcast for 12 years since 1997. In the 'Again 24 Hour Hunger Experience', about 300 participants will starve together, feel the pain of hunger, and experience the lives of refugees who have lost their hometowns due to war, disease, and disaster. Their appearances will be revealed on air for 15 hours.
Performances by Chuu, ATBO, Ichilin, N.ssign, and X:IN are also scheduled to cheer on the participants in the starvation experience.
Hope TV’, a representative social contribution program, has been sharing for the past 27 years. There are over 386,000 regular sponsors through ‘Hope TV’ and the cumulative donations amount to KRW 569.6 billion. It is said that it has given hope to all corners of the world through one-to-one child sponsorship who have found new lives thanks to the support of viewers. Actors Kim Hye-ja, Park Sang-won, Jeong Ae-ri, Yoo Jun-sang, Song Jae-hee, and Ji So-yeon couple also reveal the current status of overseas children who were connected through 'Hope TV'.
