Boy-Boy will take time to warm up - but when he trusts you will ask for tummy rubs. Very bonded to his sister, Sweetie and they must be adopted together. These two need experienced cat-friendly home.
Sweetie is shy - was rescued from a feral colony. She is very bonded to her brother Boy-Boy and they must be adopted together. Best home would be a quiet home with possibly oder children.

Lightning is striking parts of Southern California on Monday, as scattered showers and even hail drops into the region.
May 6, 2019
I adjusted the chembuster this morning and drew from the west. Some unexpected downpours, hail, and lightning hit the foothill communities along the 210 today. It was nice to hear some gratitude from the residents of the area in this news video, even if they don’t know what has caused our great extended rainy season and comfortably cool temperatures in Southern California. This is the kind of high OR weather that puts people in a good mood and removes all fear of drought and water shortage.

My name is Mamacella and I am a beautiful tortie cat. I was out on my own for awhile and it wasn’t long before I found myself with a litter of kittens looking up to me. I learned to be a good momma even though I wasn’t more than a kitten myself, but now that I’m spayed, I can live a kitten free life and just be myself! I’m a comfortable and relaxed kitty and I really enjoy a good brushing and a romp with a toy or playmates. If you have questions about me or if you’d like to meet me face to whiskers, please email my foster mom.

Kyia and her sister, Amber, came to us awhile back. Their previous owner had to give them up and unfortunately nobody in the family could take them. Kyia is a cat that would love to be in a quiet home without children. She is shy and it is going to take a nice, patient person to let her warm up. She will need time. As you can see, she is missing her left eye. It doesn't slow her down at all. She would love to find a home just like the rest of the Happy Strays kitties. She came to us in 2011 at about a year old, so we are estimating she was born in June 2010.
Hi there! I'm Amber. I was surrendered to Happy Strays in 2011 because my mom was in the military and being deployed. I was born in late 2009. Because I am a tortie I do feel it necessary to show my "tortie-tude". I am ok with my sister Kyia but don't really like being around other cats and dogs make me a little nervous. I enjoy head scratches from my foster mom but will let her know when I have had enough! My favorite part of the day is feeding time! I do like to carry on a good conversation and I do answer my foster mom when she calls me! Because I am an adult kitty and a little shy I tend to get looked over at adoption events. I would really love to find a forever home soon! Can you help me? I am already spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and vaccinated.
