East Los Angeles Courthouse, 4848 E Civic Center Way, Los Angeles (East Los Angeles), CA 90022

I reported for jury duty at the East LA courthouse. The courthouse was built in the 1980s and it looks its age. The interior is dreary with little color and fluorescent lighting. This location only hears criminal misdemeanor and juvenile cases.

Every employee that I dealt with from the parking attendant to security, was helpful and friendly. While the building isn’t much to look at, it’s in the same complex as a park with a pond and ducks, sheriff’s department, library, health center, probation department, and county hall.

The jury assembly room was barebones but comfortable. It also had a few tables, computers, and restrooms. There are also vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks. There’s a strip mall across the street with several restaurants.

The wi-fi seemed very slow. Once you’re in the courtroom, they’ll ask you to turn your phone off.

Parking is free for jurors. Public parking is limited to 3 hours. It’s also close to the Metro Gold Line station and bus transit center.

Ezen a helyen rengeteg ideális csúszó van, hármas lépcső, szökőkút (-ba be és ki) és a híres színpad, ami nagyon magas, ezért is vált sokak számára motiválóvá, hogy valami olyan toljon be rajta, amit azelőtt még senki. Ezt is megismerjük a filmből.
