Railroad Spike Paper Towel/ Toilet Paper Holder
Tired of your cheap plastic paper towel holder? Does your toilet paper holder keep falling apart? We have a solution! We are very excited that Mike Kusuda will be teaching students to forge a paper towel holder for your kitchen or a toilet paper holder for your bathroom out of a railroad spike. During this super fun class, Mike will lead students through the blacksmithing techniques necessary to transform a railroad spike into a functional work of art for your home. This is a great project to showcase your blacksmithing! The technique for making the paper towel holder and the toilet paper holder is exactly the same, only the measurements are different. Students will have the option to choose to make whichever they prefer, and/or time permitting, can make both! This class is appropriate for all skill levels, however, students should be prepared to move some metal! All students must have taken a Discovery class with us as a pre-requisite for signing up for this class. This class will run from 9 AM - 3 PM with a one hour break for lunch. Come join us!
