La Noche.
EspĂĄrceme entre las estrellas para que, cuando caiga la noche, siempre sepas dĂłnde encontrarme.
Imagine La Noche and El Chamuco chatting away with Candle Maker while glancing smugly at La Muerte and Xibalba who glare daggers at them in return.
(it was a ploy to get the couple jealous)
Candle Maker doesn't notice this and just happy he's got more people to chat with :)
Extra points if La Noche glances at Xibalba and El Chamuco at La Muerteđđ
Just relax
Love song
El Chamuco and La Noche are in bed in the land of the remembered, sleeping.
La Noche wakes up to hear singing, she couldnât make out the words because it was so muffled, but it was a beautiful melody with a beautiful voice. She decides to find the source of the singing, she leaves where her and El Chamuco were sleeping, âdark is the nightâŠ.â The voice rang, she looks around to figure out where the voice could possibly be.
She starts walking around in the castle. âonly bullets whistle across the steppeâŠâ A few moments later, La Noche had looked everywhere for the source but couldnât find it, she was hoping that it wasnât coming from the basement, where she couldnât go. âonly the wind hums inâ theâ wires, the starsâ flicker dimlyâŠ.â But the melody is so beautiful and the voice is so breathtaking and soft that it felt familiar and comforting, she hesitates at first, âin the dark night, myâ love, I know, you are not sleepingâŠâ
She then gets a feeling that someone or something knows sheâs awake, she eventually walks down to the basement, the doors closing behind her, âand by the baby's crib you secretly wipe away a tearâŠâ
the stairs were awfully longer than La Noche remembered last time she was here. She looks at the writing on the walls, it was La Muerteâs handwriting, she rolls her eyes, she knew her sister would write all of this, âhow I love the depth of your gentle eyesâŠâ as she stepped deeper in the basement, writings turns into murals about how great La Muerte is. âhow I want to press my lips to themâŠâ
La Noche starts to get a little annoyed but the singing was the only thing thatâs keeping her going deeper in the basement, she keeps walking down and seeing murals about her sister, she gets irritated, whatâs so great about her? Just because she rules the land of the remembered doesnât mean sheâs all perfect. âthe dark night separates us, my loveâŠâ she sees even more murals, and more, and more, until finally, she yells and gives up.
As she was going up, she senses a slight anger in the singing voice âand in the dark, troubled steppe has come to lie between usâŠâ La Noche wonders if the voice knows how sheâs feeling and relates to her, she sighs and keeps walking down, she closes her eyes so she couldnât look at the murals.
After a while she slips and almost falls, she opens her eyes, only to see a family portrait of her and her sisters all together, âI have faith in you, my sweetheartâŠ.â La Noche tears up, but immediately wipes them away and moves on.
Once she was in the basement, the voice was getting louder, she must be close. She gets past every obstacle easily, she expected passing them would be easy, âthat faith has shielded me from bullets in this dark night...â
La Noche comes across two massive corridors, she opens them quietly and walks in. As she was trying to find the voice, she wonders why it would be here, until she realizes, âI am glad, I am calm in deadly battleâŠâ itâs coming from Lady Micteâs shrine. She immediately runs over to the room where the shrine was.
She approaches another set of massive corridors, La Noche stops for a moment, she rests her head to listen if the voice was there, it was. âI know you will meet me with love, no matter what happensâŠ.â
She opens the corridors quietly and peeks through them, her eyes widen, she sees Lord Mictlan in his new body, with his silver armor and red cape, kneeling down at the shrine, singing?? It was very rare of him to sing, very rare. But he was singing with his hostsâ voice and not his. âdeath is not terrible, we've met with it more than once in the steppe.âŠâ
He stands up and lowers his head, hugging his arms âand here it looms over me once againâŠâ La Noche expression softens, she understands why heâs here, heâs miserable that his love betrayed him and misses her dearly, but he had to do it, for power.
âyou await my return, sitting sleepless near a cradleâŠâ he looks up at the shrine and smiles, âand so I know that nothing will happen to meâŠâ he starts humming the melody and paces around. He stops and slowly turns his head to La Noche with that wicked grin of his as he repeats the last verse âand so I know that nothing will happen to meâŠâ
La Noche shivers in fear, she opens the corridor completely and clears her throat, âhola my lordâŠâ she smiles nervously, âIâŠdefinitely didnât come down here to listen to your songâŠâ she chuckles nervously. Lord Sanchez chuckles back with his fused voice again but lowly and softly, âitâs ok if you did, donât worry about itâŠâ he looks back at the shrine, his expression softening, âbut I must ask youâŠâ he then floats up to get a close up of the picture of his deceased wife, âhave you ever had someone you love betray you like this?â
La Noche looks away in pain, âyesâŠ.heâŠ.â She sighs, âhe was going to court meâŠâ Lord Sanchez turns to look at La Noche, he immediately knew who she was talking about, his other brother, Xibalba. He heard how it went, Xibalba left her for her twin sister. Lord Sanchez surprisingly relates to La Noche, he floats down back on the ground and walks over to her. âyes, that is heartbreakingâŠ..â La Noche starts to tear up again, âdo you still love him?â He asks, she wipes away her tears and looks at him, Lord Sanchez is now looking up at her with empathy. âyesâŠmore than anythingâŠ.â She says as she hugs her arms, about to tear up once again. Lord Sanchez hums in sympathy, then immediately turns away from La Noche, âwell thenâŠ.we must show them that weâre the ones in controlâ he grins menacingly again, âall of themâŠâ
I think that Elaina and Xibalba could to be good friends for cheat, scam and make beats
Also, La Noche be taken good with Elaina being curiously one version female of Xibalba (it's true similarity with Elaina of his white hair together the braids and a color purple of his cloth )
Another headcanon from La noche: She has a pet rabbit
