Marcela, Lluvia & La Vaquerita vs. Dalys, Tiffany & Amapola
Who’s who?
Marcela in gold, Lluvia masked in pink and Vaquerita in black.
Dalys in white, Tiffany in full legs black and Amapola in black/pink.
How’s the match?
Good, Marcela and Dalys stood out like they normally do. I forgot that Vaquerita was even on the roster and she barely featured into this match. It’s a shame that she lost her mask to Zeuxis who left the company. Not that Vaquerita had a very unique mask design, but it was at least something. This was okay, but nothing too crazy and I hate when Tiffany/Amapola are on the same team wearing their black outfits. Dalys needs a challenger for her title, might be Marcela.
Gorillas del Ring(Kraneo & Volcano) & Diamante Azul vs. Hechicero, Templario & Felino
Who’s who?
Kraneo in green/black, Volcano in red & Azul in blue.
Hechicero in black, Templario in silver and Felino the only maskless guy.
How’s the match?
Very good, I’m enjoying both Kraneo/Volcano as a comedy duo. Helps they had great rudos to work off in the duo of Hechicero/Templario. I suppose this could have been more eventful. We got Volcano getting to do his shit, Hechicero/Templario suplexing Volcano together, Azul got to show his strength and Gorillas del Ring came out in full Gorilla entrance attires. I got what I wanted out of the match and left pretty happy with it. I’m sure some people will be mad Volcano/Kraneo got the win over Templario/Hechicero, but seems to make sense. As they are suppose to be a team while the rudos aren’t.
Mistico, Michael Elgin & Flip Gordon vs. Negro Casas, Shocker & Rey Bucanero
Who’s who?
Mistico in white, Elgin/Flip both in black with Elgin being bald.
Rudos all in black. Bucanero has facepaint, Shocker in blonde and Negro Casas in plain black great with long black hair.
How’s the match?
Very good, Honestly wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it was. Shocker/Bucanero played the hapless fools to the assault of Elgin/Flip/Mistico. With Negro Casas coming off as the more legitimate of the rudos for good reason. Flip Gordon is looking noticeably better this tour than the tour he had in 2017. He seemed a little bit of an afterthought that tour. Here he is still playing backup to Elgin who has more important things going on while Flip doesn’t really have a story in CMLL, because he likely isn’t sticking around long enough to get one. Hopefully his next tour CMLL have a more cemented rival in mind for him.
Volador Jr.(c) vs. Barbaro Cavernario for the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship
Who’s who?
Volador Jr. in black/white with his head shaved. Barbaro in animal print.
How’s the match?
Great, you wouldn’t expect any less from this too. Great pacing, great skill shown and great title match. This is up there with some of the best matches in CMLL this year. I might still be partial to Taven/Volador Jr. I over this, but there have been many great title matches in CMLL this year. I don’t have much to say about this match, these two have had great singles matches in the past and this is just another added to the catalog of their rivalry.
