Jars of specimens line up one of your shelves, most have long passed; some you have found during your travels, some donated for research and the others…well….they were acquired in ways you aren't proud of.
There are bones of animals, both considered normal and abnormal alike, framed odd flowers with magical qualities that bring a little more color into the grim shelf.
Humming, you scratch at your chin in thought. Are there any creatures here that would come of use? That could help? That-

You decide to have a look at your books, there are many but all are non-fiction. Yes. Including the magic ones.
Every book is stacked and put away in order on the shelves surrounding you, it feels almost like a cage….if a cage was cozy and smelled of old paper.
However, a tower of books sits on your work desk. they are the most recently used ones… the ones you used to research a way to get rid of Bill Cipher once and for all.
With a hand heavy with the hurt of your past, you pick the book at the top of the tower.
The tower topples over and papers scatter on the floor, surrounding you-
Feeling unaccomplished, you decide to head towards your laboratory. Perhaps you haven’t packed enough…
Unlike the rest of the house, the laboratory is the place that remains untidy to the untrained eye. You have been practicing the ‘self-care’ and attempted to be a normal healthy person by cleaning your home after the defeat of Bill but it appears old habits die hard and the lab remains an organised chaos.
Perhaps Fiddleford was needed in more ways than one. He always found the best of ways to keep your working spaces organised without it looking like…well… this.
