Day 5
Day 4 was my birthday celebration, courteously and kindly and wonderfully arranged by my beloved wife to not involve eating. We did an Escape the Room with a Zombie (and failed -- the zombie makes things much much harder, and this EtR company relied more on fiddly bits and fiddly manipulation than the previous one we went to, which also jammed us up) and some of us went to Kingsman (which I can't wholly recommend, as I enjoyed it but am not sure I liked it).
Hungerwise I wasn't bad at all, but the movie theater popcorn and Sbarros (disgusting airport/mall pizza) smelled insanely amazing, which they normally would not, which indicates something I'm sure. Interestingly, the foods I was craving, sushi and variety-meat Mexican, were neither sighted nor smelled while I was out, giving hope that sensory triggering won't be the danger I worried it would be.
(Speaking of variety-meat Mexican, I had a dream that I Columbused (was the first white person to discover) that a (nonexistent in reality) local taco cart previously believed to only serve mediocre braised chicken actually served ALL the crazy taco meats if you actually asked. I had just been handed a sampler of al pastor, lengua, carnitas, chorizo and more and more and more (fried tripe?) when I remembered I was on liquids and didn't go for it. So if I can restrain myself in my dreams, there's hope.
That said, I am looking forward to liquids with flavors beyond fake-chocolate like WHOA.
