it wasn't often negan injured himself. he was always extremely careful and cautious, but he did enjoy doing the dirty work. it kept him grounded and active in his community, plus it sent a message to others that he wasn't afraid to get his hands filthy if it was necessary. when he had taught a particular person a lesson, one of his men that thought attempting to touch his god-daughter was a good idea, he had gotten a little too feisty with negan, scraping him with a knife he had hidden up his sleeve. instead of being placed in a cell for eternal torment, negan decided a swift death would do better justice. now ali was patching him up with a bandage while his beloved lucille hung by his side, dripping blood and flesh stuck to the barbed wire from his beating. a soft smile appears on negan's lips as he watched @seerkin wrap the gauze around his arm, ❛ thanks, kid. we got doctors, you know... ❜ he chuckled. ❛ ain't nothin' but a scratch. ❜
