Aww! I am sorry, I know headaches suck :( wish we could virtually send you the pain killers so you don't have to leave your spot :( stupid internet! I hope the headache goes away soon and you feel better.

Why thank you for your kindness.  'Cluster' headaches do suck big time.  I hate the medication prescribed due to the adverse effects I get from it but I would have gladly taken it virtually.  If you figure out that virtual method can you also figure out a way to relieve my bladder as well?  No virtual bedpans accepted.

Can we let's stop with the shame the noobs thing. not everyone's a prodigy and everyone who isn't has to start with something. So their poem is cliche and bullet-in-my-throat god-awful, but that doesn't give you any right to shame them for 'not being a true poet.' THEY MADE A POEM. THEY ARE A POET. So they only know 'don't stop believin' on the piano. Right hand. That doesn't mean they aren't a real musician. They made music from their very own hand. THEY ARE A MUSICIAN. So maybe they don't know who picasso is, but they sure as hell love their crayola watercolors, so they are a god-damn ARTIST.

Once, when I just starting choir in ninth grade, I told a lady my mom knew that I was a singer. They asked, have you ever been in an auditioned choir? Do you know who Wagner is? Have you ever taken lessons? Do you speak Italian? No? Sorry sweetie, but you're not a real singer yet.

For a moment, I stood on a weird edge. I was crushed. I didn't even want to sing anymore. I went to my ninth-grade girls choir the next day and mouthed lyrics under my breath. Just like that poet you shamed who went home and deleted all her versed Word files. and that Artist who threw away his paintings.

But then I decided that I didn't really care what that lady thought. I decided that I didn't even know her and even though she said that I could still carry a tune with my voice and hell, let's go back to choir and sing my little heart out.

Four years later, here I am. I've won scholarships with my voice. I am in every single choir class (except mens chorus, haha). I'm taking private lessons, and competing, and intend to major in Vocal Performance when i start university this fall. I'm a music teacher. I'm the school vocal sterling scholar. I'm graduating with a choir endorsement and honors ribbon, a music letter and three bars.

AND I AM NOT ONE BIT 'MORE' OR 'BETTER' OF A SINGER THAN I WAS WHEN I WAS FOURTEEN OKAY

IF YOU HAVE A PASSION OR EVEN JUST A HOBBY THEN PURSUE IT

DON'T LET PRETENTIOUS FOOLS TELL YOU YOU DON'T DESERVE TO PURSUE IT BECAUSE YOU'RE LESS EXPERIENCED
