Damn Labels.
It amazes me how many people live their lives according to the labels that society has created. We, all of us, have made the world so hateful and so cruel by labeling everyone into a certain category. He's gay, (remember when that just meant happy?). She's a nerd. They're the emo kids. That's a transgender. She's a lesbian. He's a hipster. They're jocks.. All these stupid little labels have caused "cliques" and "labels". They're created a means for singling people out and judging others. I don't understand it. Why can't we just be people? People with different hobbies, different ways of dressings, different sexual preferences...why does it have to this or that? We are all human beings...can't we just leave it at that? So much hate and chaos and confusion could have been avoided and can be stopped in the future if we just drop these damn labels.
I have no religion. I have a way of life. I lead and am being led. I smile and warm hearts. I look around and am embraced. I am not afraid and need no fear. I am watched over and I do not ask by whom. I give thanks by watching over others.
I have no need to identify myself as part of a religion. I have no religion, I have a way of life. I am content and am thankful to be so. I may have little in your eyes, but to mine I am rich with truth and honesty.
I have no need to follow a flock, nor do I seek to lead one. My pastures are unfenced and welcoming. I graze on love and trust as those who pass through my pastures. I share and give all of myself, but feel no emptier.
I have no need to identify myself as part of a religion. I simply walk through life knowing why.
