  Joan Ryan has become the eighth Labour MP to resign and join the breakaway Independent Group, claiming Jeremy Corbyn’s party has become “infected with the scourge of anti-Jewish racism”.

Ryan, the MP for Enfield North, said she had been a member for four decades – but could no longer remain as a Labour MP.

okay so here in Melbourne, Australia, we have these really congested train lines that were meant to be taken down and turned into underground ones... except, with the newly elected mp, plans changed without neighbourhood consent into turning the stations into a ‘Skyrail’-- a four-story above-ground monstrosity that’ll be loud, ugly, and supposedly affect property prices of the surrounding area.   Action has begun within the general public to get them to stop this kind of bullcrap, but it’ll really help if you guys could sign petitions here and here to really get the ball rolling.
