🔮 Labyrinth: Coronation Vol. 1 by Simon Spurrier, Daniel Bayliss, and Dan Jackson
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5
“You’ll find what things seem and what they mean are rarely the same in the labyrinth.”
Before there was Sarah and baby Toby, there was a woman named Maria who had to traverse the labyrinth in hopes of saving her baby son from the old Owl King, who wishes to make him the next Goblin King.
The first book in a trilogy covering the backstory of King Jareth, the Goblin King of the spectacular movie “Labyrinth” of the Jim Henson variety, a friend gave me this series to read and I’m so intrigued. The art style is really cool and the story is something I’ve always wondered about. After watching the movie over and over as a kid, teen, and adult, this is such a fun foray into such an awesome and mysterious character. I love Jareth and I can’t wait to see where this goes.

I would love a animated movie or TV series adoption of Labyrinth coronation
maria in labyrinth, coronation. ↪ cover #2, #3, #6 & #8.
was she doomed to be alone? was she cursed to choose companions, who would betray or desert her, over and over? those were the thoughts that tormented her ... but .... you mark my words, little toby ... she never despaired.
Once you like this film, it’s impossible to escape. XD
