DD: ADBK Guardian of the Labyrinth

Biography: As previously stated, the Labyrinth of Treachery is as unusual as it is vast and deadly. To the shock of most of the Tribes, sans the Undead Oligarchy, there was a passageway in the winding paths right to the outskirts of the Netherworld. Said Netherworld is the main capital where Dark Master Zorc resides.

However, an unusual Kindred ally lives near this passage, called the Gate of Unknowable Secrets. He calls himself the Guardian of the Labyrinth, a strange demon-mortal hybrid said to be the illegitimate son of an unknown deceased king.

He claimed to be the rightful owner of the Labyrinth, though just about everyone has their doubts on this. His only company for the longest time was his shield, a flaming piece of armor that houses an unknown entity that fed him much of his information over the years.

After being saved by Barrel Rock and Catapult Turtle during a raid by the Machinations, the Guardian agreed to be an ally and prevent further breaches by Zorc and his allies. He even gave his full name: Nero of the Necrovalley.

Biography: Catapult Turtle may look like a Machine, and may act like one, but he's not one of the Machinations' little playthings. No, this mighty terrapin was made by cooperative effort between Time Wizard and Trap Master from Labyrinth Tank's blueprints. These schematics were stolen by the incomparable Shinobi Trio of Armed Ninja, Strike Ninja and Ansatsu, along with the blueprints for Ground Attacker Bugroth.

Back on to Catapult, he was built with equally sophisticated tracking and calculating systems that make him more than a match for Labyrinth Tank and Shadow Ghoul. The main difference is that Catapult Turtle isn't quite as fast as either of them.

Besides Barrel Rock, Catapult has one last major ally in the Labyrinth of Treachery; a reprogrammed Dharma Cannon nicknamed Oni, which can replicate itself from its fallen parts thanks to a little modificating from Trap Master. Catapult, much like Giant Soldier of Stone, isn't much for small-talk, but is a deep thinker. He often discusses the Duelscape at large with Barrel Rock during their relative off-time from the fight.

Biography: The Labyrinth of Treachery is more than just a dangerous maze, it's a battle ground where only a few monsters survive and defend what they consider their turf.

Cannon Soldier and Labyrinth Tank are forging through the magical twists and turns already, but are not without competition.

Jirai Gumo and Dungeon Worm have both claimed territory and often easily sneak up on the high tech Dharma Cannons they use as sentries.  

Shadow Ghoul can become the Wall Shadow, and performs similarly underhanded deeds for the Undead Hordes (and by extension the Undead Oligarchy).

And finally, Catapult Turtle and today's subject, Barrel Rock, work for The Kindred in the hopes of both studying the maze and its origins and preventing any potential means of invading Druishire from ANY of the other tribes.

For the sake of argument, we'll be focusing on Barrel Rock for this one. He's the 'brother' of Granite Fist, the Giant Soldier of Stone, created by the Ancient Sorcerer to be a second protector of Mount Geb. When Ancient Sorcerer joined The Kindred officially, Barrel Rock came with him and was assigned to guard the Labyrinth of Treachery after a near-defeat at the hands of the Machinations via sneak attack.

Although not one for a sense of direction, Barrel Rock was made with both life-detecting rader and a powerful back-cannon that can destroy pretty much anything he wants. As such, he was joined by fellow long-range fighter Catapult Turtle, as well as a reprogrammed Dharma Cannon named Oni. Together, they launch both lasers and Oni himself to either block enemy advancement, or defeat the sneakier combatants when they least expect it.
