hat! (ravelry link here) this pattern is apparently based on an old doily, and there’s another variation that turns it into a blanket that I’m planning to make with my family’s sheep’s wool the next time I need a new bulky-weight project

I think this would have been slightly better with higher-contrast lining (hat is a lavender gradient, lining is dark grey) but I have way too much grey fleece lying around for it to be reasonable to hunt down something different.

This pattern was a lot of fun, and super quick to knit. Blocking was really easy too - just had to soak the hat and then drape it on a dinner plate over top of a flowerpot, no pinning or anything.
