lacecanis started being a thing in my brain because of the quiet respect for shared competence. the chats about the arrow. "it won't even be your fault". the back and forths on dreams. the banter about what he'd do if there were wyverns on a contract. "so you just naturally look amazing when spite helps?".
idk i like the vibe there and i like it either as friends or as lovers, it's cute no matter what to me. they're open with each other and it makes me feel all fuzzy.
(important note that i am a multishipper and i also love laash/nevecanis/neve and taash in general before anyone assumes anything weird)
