It was safe to say Thalia had become increasingly paranoid ever since her very first encounter with the DUP. If she heard a truck coming down the street that sounded just a little too much like the one’s they drove around, she would immediately find a hiding place. Thalia felt stupid for feeling so paranoid, but also thought she had a reason to be.

There was a particular day when she swore she could hear the sirens coming down the street & the brown-haired girl actually dove into an alleyway. The sirens actually ended up being simple police sirens & Thalia scrapped up her knee for nothing. She walked out of the alleyway then & turned to the nearest person who probably thought she was a lunatic now.

          “Forget you saw that,” Thalia said & sat down to nurse her wound. The impact            had torn right through her tights & blood was beginning to trickle through the tears.

          “Awesome,” she muttered.
