Henry Higgins (nothing to do with “My Fair Lady”), played by sympathetic Lachlan Murdoch (that IS the actor’s last name 🤯) is not the most likeable of characters. Henry Higgins is often inconsiderate, sleazy, and not the brightest bulb — I often wonder how he ever made it to Constable First Class. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, though I doubt I would ever choose to be friends with someone like Henry Higgins in real life, I love what the actor and the writers have done with the character. In spite of Henry being annoying, they have made him interesting as well. He may not be the brightest, but he does have moments of brilliance; he is often sleazy, but turns out he has a heart; and though he is inconsiderate, he has no idea he is being inconsiderate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It would have been easy to leave Henry as a shallow, slap-stick character. Instead, the team gave him a soul. I especially grew fond of him after he finds his true love. 💕 No spoilers! 😘 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Total Painting Time: 2:21:17 Medium: @clipstudiopaintpro on @wacom Cintiq Companion ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . . . #milifayart #murdochmysteries #lachlanmurdoch #henryhiggins #portraitpainting #digitalpainting #toonmechallenge #toonmechallenge2020 #digitalportrait #clipstudiopaintpro #timelapseart https://www.instagram.com/p/B9o7U7jD9Bc/?igshid=1q2vux9p80rlv
