.✦ ݁˖ Gee, two posts within the same - looks down at my blank wrist... Something. I'd space them out to look like less of a try hard, but you'd sooner divert the course of a river than deny my nature, or however it goes. They pretty much encapsulate the scope of my main two illustrative styles, and two of the main fandoms I'm in currently !! Which is, The Amazing Digital Circus, and Lackadaisy! Yes folks, believe it here, this is a Lackadaisy character! Original character. Humanized. I needed the practice.

.✦ ݁˖ Uhhmn uhh, I know it's kind of odd for my first Lackadaisy associated post to be an illustration of a humanized non - canon character, but I am nothing if not self indulgent, which is also why I got back into the fandom, despite myself !! Here's Madeline. She's... Here, and she's overcompensating in blandness of appearance to make up for her rich inner world and poor man's way of work. Which is ironic, considering her conventional attractiveness, or maybe I just like drawing pretty things and it's a fatal flaw of mine to avoid illustrating the truly mundane.

.✦ ݁˖ There's not much to be said about this piece, it was majorly just a headshot study that got out of hand. I'm not particularly fond of how sloppy I got with the individual hair strands, and the scarring is a bit too obvious, regardless it is certainly an improvement from the last time I drew her in this style!! Blegh. It's not obvious, but there was a LOT of J. C. Leyendecker I derived inspiration from, he was a god back in his hayday! Or I'm just saying that because I'm a fan. I'll never tell. I could've done better with the expression and head pose, it tells you nothing about her and her character besides "Oh, three quarters headshot and a vaguely pleasant visage, this is so digestible for a general audience!" However, her default is usually wide eyed stone faced dread, so this may actually be a unique expression for her! Jolly good show!

I'm not actually a furry, BUT my god, how I love the concept of people with animal parts of the body (ears, tails, eyes, paws) >///<

First of all, it's cute

The first argument is basically enough

But secondly, I like the idea that a person can have some visible part that acts more on reflexes and reveals all their true emotions. As the saying goes, if people had dog tails, I could always tell who was really happy to see me🥹
